As cases of self-immolation in Tibetan areas have been detected and brought to public trial and a number of criminals who have incitedorganized and coerced others to immolate themselves have been brought to justice, external forces that have manipulated the irrefutable evidence have been exposed one by one. Recently, such cases have occurred very infrequently. This is the inevitable result of both clergy and laymen in Tibetan areas clearly grasping the true nature of these cases and of a healthy atmosphere overpowering evil trends, and it is also a reflection of the fact that the masses of the people refuse to be hoodwinked and deceived and wish to live a happy life. Recently, the Dalai Lama clique abroad has been thrown into a panic because is very unwilling to see this wickedness end and it has gone to extremes to find a way to keep the incidents occurring.

First, it tried to repackage a case of murder as a case of heroic self-immolation. According the Dalai Lama cliques Central Tibetan Administration website, Approximately 11:30 pm on March 13 in Dagcagoin Town, Zoige County, Aba Prefecture, a woman named Konchok Wangmo immolated herself to protest the violent policies the Chinese government has long carried out throughout Tibetan areas. She died at the scene. However, according to a careful investigation by the local public security bureau, the relations between Konchok Wangmo and her husband Drolma Kyab (32 years old, resident of Zoige County) were very strained because of his drinking and gambling, and on the night of March 11 they had a violent argument during which he choked her to death. He wanted to burn her body to destroy the evidence, and around 2:00 am on March 12, he transported her body to the wall on the west side of building No. 3 of a low-income housing project in the town of Dagcagoin, where he doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. After the public security bureau announced the facts of the case, the Dalai Lama clique fumed with rage and contradicted this report on Radio Free Asia claiming, The public security bureau forced Drolma Kyab to confess. His wife chose to end her life by self-immolation because their marital relations were bad. This case is clearly a vicious criminal case. Drolma Kyab murdered his wife and burned her corpse heartlessly and cruelly, yet the Dalai Lama clique twisted the facts, inverted black and white, passed off murdering ones wife as a heroic act to deceive the gullible masses. Everyone can see how despicable these actions are.

Then the Dalai Lama clique mobilized elementary school students to join in a funeral procession for the self-immolator. According to a report on American Radio Free Asia on March 25, about 150 elementary school children in the Tibetan childrens village in Dharamsala, India, marched in a procession carried a photo of a self-immolator and carried a coffin with pictures of her family attached to it. Before this procession, several foreign media reported that the Tibetan government-in-exile had asked these elementary students to participate in the rally for her. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child stresses, Children should be brought up in the spirit of peacedignitytolerancefreedomequality and solidarity. UN Resolution 36/55, Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief declares, The child shall be brought up in a spirit of understandingtolerancefriendship among peoplespeace and universal brotherhoodrespect for freedom of religion or belief of others. There is a saying, Pity the poor father and mother. Fathers and mothers endure great hardships to raise their children and send them to school so that after they grow up they have a healthy personality and are useful citizens. However, time and again the Dalai Lama clique teaches the children of Tibetans in exile lessons in self-immolation, deliberately twisting their pure hearts and planting seeds of hatred in them while they are young. This kind of action violates innate knowledge and childrens nature.

After self-immolation was rejected more and more by the people of the world, the Dalai Lama clique still did its utmost to encourage it. Why? Recently the Dalai Lama has scurried all over the globe meeting with anyone who would receive him. In an interview with an Italian reporter on April 11, he baldly stated, Self-immolation is the only way to escape tyranny, and If I ask them to stop self-immolations, I should give them an alternative. But I havent any, I can only pray. A number of foreign media such as www.dwnews.com commented that the Dalai Lama again expressed indifference concerning the incidents of self-immolation and clearly refused to use his position as a religious leader to prevent Tibetans from using the extreme method of self-immolation to express their political demands. Realizing the situation was unfavorable, the Dalai Lama clique hurriedly deleted the above remarks of the Dalai Lama from its official website. Even more revealing, in an interview with the Indian Times Now TV station on March 25, the Dalai Lama stated, Suicide is an act of violence, but whether it is good or bad is determined by the motive and the goal, and From the perspective of Buddhism, no matter whether an act is violent or nonviolent, it is ultimately judged by its motive. However, no matter what the political import of the Dalai Lamas notion of motives is, from the perspective of religious doctrine, it is completely contrary to the fundamental principles of Buddhism. Cemolin, the Living Buddha who is the vice president of the Buddhist Association of China, believes that if you maintain that suicide is permissible if you have a good motive, this is equivalent to maintaining that you can kill others if you have a good motive, which is absolutely contrary to the Buddhist religion. Yin Zhanglao, the president of the Buddhist Association of China, recently stated at a seminar on the Buddhist view of live, Murder is the worst sin of all. Not killing is the foremost of all the virtues. It includes not killing others and not killing oneself. The Dalai Lama not only does not discourage self-immolation, but he also harbors political motives that are not positive and merciful. Time and again he distorts and twists Buddhist doctrine to praise the motives of self-immolators, but in fact this encourages others to take this path of no return.

According to the Canadian newspaper Globe and Mail and the British BBC, on March 27 the Dalai Lamas representative in North America participated in a citizens power meeting of a human rights group in Washington D.C.. In the discussion of self-immolation, he said, I firmly believe that if China can maintain relations of a positive nature with the Dalai Lamas plenipotentiary and resume discussions, Tibetans will stop self-immolations and wait and see, and The best way to put an end to Tibetan self-immolations is the positive approach of dialogue with the Dalai Lamas representatives. The Dalai Lama clique has always used sophistry to vehemently deny their evil acts of organizingplanning and inciting self-immolation; however, these remarks unintentionally reveal their hidden agenda, and again prove that the initiator of the self-immolation incidents is the Dalai Lama clique. In fact, the Dalai Lama clique continues to incite self-immolation in order to achieve its political goals, and the world is coming to see this more and more clearly. It is becoming every more pointless for the Dalai Lama clique to incite self-immolation, but it cannot stop, just like it is impossible to quit when you are riding a tiger. This handful of people should wake up. Fabricating lies, violating innate knowledge, tarnishing Buddhism and continuing to incite self-immolation leads nowhere. The only way for the Dalai Lama clique to repent and be saved is by renouncing its Tibet independence standpoint and actively aligning with the central governments principled demands.
